Are you the Underwriter we are looking for? We are looking for a talented colleague to join our client in Rotterdam. At this party they evaluate and manage risk like no other in the industry. Activities
- Provides expertise in the field of Underwriting and is strongly service-oriented to our clients;
- Works from the head office in Rotterdam, primarily targeting brokers in the Benelux, the rest of Europe and the Middle East;
- Prepares quotations for potential clients, manages client files and develops new business relationships;
- Maintains and develops relationships with (international) clients and brokers;
- International travel is required for this position.
Profile
- Relevant knowledge of and experience in marine insurance (preferably in liability and/or P&I insurance for charterers);
- HBO/WO educated, preferably in the field of maritime law, shipping, logistics or a related field;
- Completed WFT training or willingness to complete it;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Team player with a customer-oriented and solution-oriented attitude;
- Proficient in the English language; knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage;
- Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels;
- Driven, passionate, with a positive attitude.
