Our client is a leading international general insurer.
They are one of the longest established general insurers in the world, providing peace of mind to individuals and protecting businesses from risk for over 300 years. Our client has branches in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. With a team of 250 employees, they provide technical underwriting, claims and risk management services across the country.
Activities
- Reviewing assigned cases and making underwriting decisions within agreed timeframes to secure profitable business within authorization level and risk appetite;
- Access and apply all appropriate sources of information and insight to best meet broker and client needs;
- Build effective relationships with colleagues in Underwriting, Claims and others;
- Contribute to the creation of segment and local business development plans that identify existing and regular flow of new business opportunities;
- Clearly and positively articulate our proposition and risk appetite;
- Maximize profitable business growth;
- Being aware of and adhering to the regulatory framework at all times;
- Capturing and recording data in a timely and accurate manner;
- Going through license levels in accordance with the development plan.
Profile
- You ideally have 2-6 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance and preferably have completed an education at at least college level;
- You are well versed in working with (excel) data, tools and systems;
- Your English is at a good level, both oral and written;
- You are an effective team player and you add value through your organized way of working;
- You have a commercial attitude combined with a passion for achieving results.
