In this role you will lead the professional liability team and be responsible for business profitability, growth and relationship management within this portfolio. You will work very independently and have an important role in strategy development and execution within the Dutch market. In this, the focus is on architects and engineers.

Activities

Leading and coaching the team of underwriters.
Advising, developing and implementing policy and strategy.
Supervise marketing process of products and services through brokers.
Actively build relationships with brokers and ensure profitability and growth.
Report management on results and market developments.
Representing our client in the market and at industry associations.
Being aware of regulations within the work area, industry activities and trends.
Perform additional tasks to be determined in consultation.

Profile

Good knowledge of the professional liability market.
Strong leadership skills and team building experience.
Technical expertise in underwriting.
Analytical ability and solution-oriented thinking.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Analytical ability and solution-oriented thinking.
Ability to deal with complex situations and subject matter.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legal requirements applicable to the role.
