We are looking for an entrepreneurial and communicatively strong professional who in this new role will proactively think about organizational issues and personnel-related challenges within the expertise group (180 employees). In this role you will work closely with the Expertise Group Leads and the Senior Group Coordinator.
It is a completely new position in which you will play an important role in optimizing the operation of the expertise group. Our client is a large international law firm in Amsterdam.

Activities

Responsible for running the expertise group efficiently.
Monitor daily operations and actively contribute to strengthening/optimizing expertise group.
Collaborate with other Group Coordinators from other home markets on processes, projects and strategies.
Collaborate with Marketing Services departments, IT support, F&C, Recruitment, L&T development etc.
Drafting proposals and engagement letters.
Coordinate billing to clients.
Oversee daily staffing and analysis on performance and workload.
Fulfill social HR role.
Contribute to recruitment process, monitor performance and support professional development of Associates.
Act as first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
Prepare and chair meetings of Partners of the Expertise Group.

Profile

Experience at a law firm or in business services.
Perfect command of Dutch and English.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Experience working in a global, multicultural environment.
Been successful in leading and managing team processes.
Flexible personality.
Strategic thinking and broad orientation.
Entrepreneurial personality.
Able to think ahead and make strategic choices.
Hard on business but soft in dealing with people.
