Finance Analyst

Activities

• Bookkeeping: Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial entries, including reviewing automatically generated transactions.
• Monitoring and Analysis: Verify accuracy of entries and financial reports, investigate errors and discrepancies, correct where necessary and prevent future errors.
• Broker liaison: Actively maintain communication with external brokers (brokers) to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial data and transactions.
• Internal stakeholder management: Act as point of contact for internal departments (such as Broker Relations, Underwriting, Claims and Accounting) to resolve questions and issues related to bookings and financial transactions.
• Process optimization and standardization: Contribute to improving the booking process by implementing solutions to recurring anomalies and integrating them into standardized processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors and ensure continuous operational improvements.
• Anomaly analysis and root cause resolution: Identify, analyze and resolve exceptions or anomalies in business processes and data flows to ensure timely resolution and minimal operational disruptions.
• Automation: Proactively manage automation processes (full or partial) to maintain the effective operation of the systems, including root cause analysis and resolution of problems.
• Reporting: Periodically report on financial accounting progress and identify potential risks or areas for improvement.
• Compliance: Ensure that all entries comply with internal and external regulations, such as IFRS and other relevant guidelines.
