Are you the Claims handler we are looking for? We are looking for a talented colleague to join our client in Rotterdam. At this party they evaluate and manage risks like no other in the industry. Activities
- Claims handling: dealing with all types of claims cases as assigned by the manager;
- Claims processing: receiving and reviewing claims submitted by clients, verifying accuracy and completeness of claim documentation, and entering information into the claims management system;
- Document management: maintaining and updating claim files;
- Research: conduct initial investigations into the nature of claims, collaborate with relevant parties to gather required information;
- Coordination: coordinate with various departments such as Operations, Underwriting and Finance;
- Reporting: prepare and submit reports on claim activity, status and trends. In addition, it is important to provide management with insights for continuous improvement in claims handling processes.
Profile
- University degree in maritime/commercial law, shipping, logistics or maritime insurance;
- Good command of English & Dutch language;
- A strong interest in maritime insurance and maritime law;
- Experience is a plus but not an absolute requirement;
- A hands-on mentality and flexibility in working hours
