Are you the Claims handler we are looking for? We are looking for a talented colleague to join our client in Rotterdam. At this party they evaluate and manage risks like no other in the industry. Activities

Claims handling: dealing with all types of claims cases as assigned by the manager;
Claims processing: receiving and reviewing claims submitted by clients, verifying accuracy and completeness of claim documentation, and entering information into the claims management system;
Document management: maintaining and updating claim files;
Research: conduct initial investigations into the nature of claims, collaborate with relevant parties to gather required information;
Coordination: coordinate with various departments such as Operations, Underwriting and Finance;
Reporting: prepare and submit reports on claim activity, status and trends. In addition, it is important to provide management with insights for continuous improvement in claims handling processes.

Profile

University degree in maritime/commercial law, shipping, logistics or maritime insurance;
Good command of English & Dutch language;
A strong interest in maritime insurance and maritime law;
Experience is a plus but not an absolute requirement;
A hands-on mentality and flexibility in working hours
