For a professional proxy that assesses, manages risks and provides customized insurance solutions on behalf of multiple insurers, we are looking for a Property Underwriter. Someone who gets energy from analyzing fire risks, works accurately and likes to switch between brokers, insurers and clients.

Activities

You assess and accept fire insurance requests within our power of attorney, for example analyzing the fire safety of a production company or checking building materials of a distribution center.
You put together customized solutions, for example adapting a policy to a specific risk situation or distributing a risk within co-insurance so that the customer is optimally insured.
You maintain relationships with brokers and insurers, discuss applications, explain quotations and identify trends that may affect our portfolio.
You actively think along about process improvements and product development, for example more efficient processing of applications or tightening of policy conditions.
You will contribute to a healthy and profitable portfolio by carefully assessing risks and seizing commercial opportunities.
You will work in a committed team where knowledge sharing, cooperation and collegiality are self-evident.

Profile

HBO working and thinking level
Two to three years of experience as an underwriter or underwriter, preferably within brand or property
An independent, analytical and structured way of working
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
A down-to-earth attitude, sense of responsibility and pleasure in your profession
