For a leading international insurance and investment organization specializing in business property and casualty insurance, we are looking for a Senior Underwriter General Liability.

Activities

Continuously analyze portfolio and market to identify growth opportunities.
Underwriting profitable insurance business in line with business objectives.
Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients through meetings, presentations and events.
Organize and attend relevant marketing and reinsurance meetings.
Maximize cross-selling opportunities through in-depth client and market knowledge.
Actively contribute to market groups and committees to enhance our reputation.
Proactively coach and mentor team members in their professional development.

Profile

Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within business co-insurance liability.
Commercial, decisive, analytical and customer focused.
Thorough knowledge of market formulations, clauses and reinsurance practices.
Up-to-date with claims management to support underwriting decisions.
Strong understanding of the global insurance and reinsurance market.
Excellent portfolio management skills with profit & loss responsibility.
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
