We are looking for a motor claims adjuster for an informal, authentic Rotterdam-based insurance brokerage firm that focuses on the logistics side of the insurance market. In the commercial auto, traffic, and transportation claims segment, the team—currently consisting of four people—is looking to expand. Are you the person who can support clients with a wide range of financial and legal claims issues?

What will you do?

Independently handling complex commercial cargo claims.
Assessing coverage, liability, and policy terms.
Coordinating all claims correspondence between all parties involved.
Advising and guiding clients throughout the entire claims process.
Ensuring that files are accurately recorded in the system.
Monitoring turnaround times and proactively identifying risks or opportunities for improvement.

What do you offer?

At least one year of experience as a claims adjuster, preferably in transportation insurance.
Experience with commercial and provincial property and casualty insurance.
Hold the Wft Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance Advisor certification or be willing to obtain it quickly.
Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented approach to work.
Independent, meticulous, and structured work style.
Experience with the ANVA insurance package is a strong plus.

Who is a good fit for this job?

You have 2 years of experience in claims handling, knowledge of commercial insurance, and the transportation sector. You work with precision, have strong communication skills, and hold the appropriate Wft certifications or are motivated to obtain them.
