We are seeking a Senior Liability Underwriter for one of the world’s largest captive insurance companies, operating in Europe, North America, Australia, and other regions, to play a leading role in the further professionalization and growth of our liability portfolio. With your knowledge, experience, and entrepreneurial mindset, you will be the go-to partner for intermediaries, insurers, and colleagues, and you will be able to sharply analyze risks and translate them into innovative, customer-focused solutions.

Activities

Developing, documenting, and keeping the underwriting policy up to date.
Assessing and handling proposed risks and complex quotes.
Creating and implementing efficient, innovative solutions.
Maintain and expand relationships with intermediaries and capacity providers.
Monitor market and legislative developments and translate them into new products.
Ensure a positive underwriting result for the portfolio.
Serve as a mentor and sparring partner for fellow underwriters.

Profile

Minimum higher vocational education (HBO) level of work and thinking.
WFT certifications in accordance with legal requirements.
Extensive experience as a Liability Underwriter.
Excellent knowledge of the insurance market.
Entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of CCS Level is a plus.
