The client's maritime department is an all-round broker. The core business relates to companies active in the shipping industry. Our client takes care of the total insurance package of the maritime relations. Because of this you have frequent contact with insurers and other internal departments. Your team consists of 4 account managers and 4 relationship managers. The cooperation between inside and outside sales is very intensive, together you are the contact for the customer.

Because the company is growing and they want to meet all customer requirements we are looking for an employee who has ambition, can work well together, thinks commercially and puts the customer first.
As Relationship Manager you are assured of a dynamic and versatile position: you are a real spider in the web. Advice and commerce are strongly present in this position.

Activities

  • Customer contact/ answering customer questions and advising on insurance.
  • Working closely with the account managers, providing them with the required information in an accurate and knowledgeable manner.
  • Quoting, managing and administering insurances.
  • Taking care of related administration, such as developing and following up on visit reports, daily checking of policy documents and performing sanction checks.
  • Ensuring proper support and customer satisfaction.

Profile

  • MBO work and thinking level.
  • You are in possession of Wft Basis, Wft Schade Particulier and Wft Schade Zakelijk. Wft Income is an advantage, but it suffices to obtain this within 6 months after starting employment.
  • You have excellent communication, commercial and service skills.
  • You have a proactive attitude and are a real team player.
  • You have several years of experience with commercial office work.
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry is a plus.
