As a Legal Practice Assistant at this renowned law and notary firm in Amsterdam, you will be part of the Real Estate Notary Department, where you will work closely with approximately 15 other assistants, paralegals, and (candidate) notaries. Together with your colleagues, you will support the (candidate) civil-law notaries on a daily basis in a wide range of notarial activities for real estate-related matters and act as the link between our clients and the (candidate) civil-law notaries.

Activities

  • Scheduling appointments and consultations;
  • Processing expense claims;
  • Opening new cases;
  • Preparing notarial documents;
  • Requesting documents from the Chamber of Commerce (KvK);
  • Coordinating client events, for example;
  • Drafting and checking deeds and contracts;
  • Delving into real estate issues;
  • Researching legal documents.

Profile

  • You have completed or are about to complete a vocational education program or a higher professional education program, for example in Law, Social Legal Services, Office Management, or another field of study.
  • Some work experience in a similar position is an advantage, for example as a notary secretary, legal administrative assistant, executive assistant, personal assistant, or notary clerk.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and preferably also in English;
  • You have an eye for detail and take responsibility;
  • You are service-oriented and enjoy working in a close-knit team;
  • You are preferably available as soon as possible for four or five days a week.

  • An attractive salary: minimum €2,950 and maximum €4,595 on a full-time (40 hours) basis, depending on your work experience, knowledge, and skills;
