We are seeking a P&I Claims Handler for this international client. Our client is a renowned and leading property and casualty insurer with a strong commitment to growth.

We are therefore looking for a claims handler who, in addition to subject-matter expertise, brings a strong sense of perseverance and knowledge of maritime law to the role.

What will you do?

Handling claims related to shipowners’ P&I, charterers’ liability, and FD&D.
Maintaining close relationships with clients, brokers, and external experts.
Ensuring the accurate maintenance of claim files.

What do you offer?

Master’s degree in Maritime Law.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent in English and knowledge of Dutch.
Previous experience in the shipping industry is a plus.

What do you get back?

Salary between €3,500 and €5,500 gross per month.
Bonus scheme of up to 20% of annual salary.
Permanent contract.
Hybrid work arrangement.
30 days of vacation per year.
