As Marketing and Communication Manager The Netherlands, you will manage, under the responsibility of the Head of Market Management, Product and Distribution, the definition and deployment of the marketing roadmap by market segment for our client (Insurance) in the Netherlands.


While there is rarely a "typical" day as a Marketing and Communication Manager, here's a look at some of your main responsibilities:

  • Market insight: in coordination with the Marketing Analyst Europe, set up the necessary tools and framework for a good understanding of the market on which we operate (competition, trends and dynamics, products, regulation) and propose opportunities for development for our client;
  • Customer/Broker journey: implement the necessary actions to measure customer/broker satisfaction and recommend action plans to improve the customer/broker experience;
  • Promotion of offers: define and execute a multi-channel action plan to support sales and underwriting teams in lead generation (social networks, events, emails, SEA...);
  • Sales support materials: provide marketing/sales materials required to support the sale of products (presentations, brochures, newsletters, infographics etc.);
  • Monitoring and reporting on marketing activities: definition of the objective and KPIs, performance measurement, corrective actions;
  • External communication: develop the communication and brand promotion strategy, and oversee media relations (eg. owned events, tradeshows, website, social media…);
  • Content marketing: creation and distribution of value-added content to external audiences (articles, infographics, videos, etc.).

For this role, you must have the following qualifications and demonstrated experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in Marketing functions for business services;
  • Dutch native, fluent in English;
  • Knowledge of the insurance market is a plus;
  • Experience in multi-channel operational marketing;
  • Experience in brand management/development;
  • Ability to develop creative content (infographics, videos...).
